The
PD150 is quite possibly the most advanced controller of it's kind. Designed
for Pyrotek Special Effects Inc. the PD150 had an ambitious task
ahead of it. The KISS Reunion World Tour and The METALLICA World Tour.
These two tours were the biggest shows on the road in decades. With this
in mind Light Design Systems set out to provide a control system that would
be State of the Art and yet remain flexible and most of all user friendly.
These tasks and many more were over come and The PD150 was born.
To
this day the PD 150 is performing on a daily basis somewhere in the world
and under the grueling conditions of the road. This product has impressed
even the most skeptical of critics. It's been almost 3 years since the
first PD 150's were sent into the field and they continue to run flawlessly
with acts such as Ted Nugent, Shania Twain, Metallica, Alice Cooper, Korn,
Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson and many more. Early in there release the KISS
tour and the PD 150 control system were featured on a Special FX segment
of Popular Science, these systems where quoted as being "the way things
are done these days" and "the safest means of executing a professional
fireworks display". The PD150 is truly a world class control system.
The PD 150 can be seen in action on
the current KISS Psycho Circus Tour as well as the current Korn, Marilyn
Manson and Mettalica tours.
