Specifications
Each curtain consists of two layers of heavy duty,
certified fire retardant cloth. Standard SpectroLite curtains have a facing of Black Commando Cloth with a lining made of Black Ranger cloth. (Other colors and fabrics are available). Fibers enter the cloth in gathered bundles and are distributed in
individual random or designed order over the entire curtain.

Individual fibers are secured in place via a proprietary two step glue process. The gathered bundle ends (umbilicals) are packed in a protective sleeve and clearfused into a ferrule to be inserted into the illuminating fixture.

Customer specifications will determine how many bundles and light sources are attached to each individual curtain.

Circuits and Zones

A Circuit refers to a grouping of fibers lit by one illuminator. A Zone is the section of a curtain containing up to the maximum amount of fiber tips from a single illuminator. Multiple circuits allow the mixing of colors and effects in a single zone.

For realistic twinkle effects a two circuit curtain is recommended.
Zone sizes and points per circuit vary with illuminating fixtures.
